I didn’t knew about Wiz, what a sad thing.
The single was really one of my faves at the times, though I’m not a huge melodic punk fan, but the kids had talent. Then I found both songs in their “Terribly sorry Bob” CD and who appreciate the single should give it a listen.

Their first LP, “Tranzophobia,” is even better than these two tracks – nearly every song on the record in fact is great.

So glad to see MC4 getting some attention, all the DS members are die hard fans and have been collecting records and shirts for years. Right before he passed away Wiz came through the east coast with his new band Ipanema and I have to say he was one of the kindest and most inspiring people I have ever met. Thanks for spreading the word!

Great post! I remember reading somewhere, though, that Frankie Stubbs didn’t hear Husker Du until like the late 90s, and when he did his reaction was something akin to “wow, we DO sound a lot like them.”
