Their second LP, this one moving away from more generic hardcore into experimentation with funk, rock, pop, but all with an edge, as well as more standard punk fare. Lyrics are again above average, a good effort.

Brain Dead The Brighter Side of Life LP

Though there’s nothing new musically, this mid-tempo hardcore platter is well done, has clean (perhaps a bit too much) production, really audible vocals, and really good lyrics. Always glad to see a good band emerge from mid-America.
