January 2015, Victoria, BC, Canada.
Reason for forming:
The victoria punk scene has been on a serious upswing over the past year and we were running out of local bands to have open gigs so we kind of threw this project together hoping that it might encourage people to start some new bands by showing them just how easy it can be to start up a punk band if you really want to do it. It’s also great because the four of us all come from somewhat different musical backgrounds (well grindcore and indie rock bands) so it’s nice to get to play some straightforward-as-fuck punk together.
What are your lyrics about?
Our lyrics address a variation of issues we care about, some of these issues fall close to home and some that we are not entirely affected by. To generalize, our lyrics address issues relating to social justice, political concerns and badly behaved people.
How would you describe your sound?
Simple as fuck, chaotic hardcore punk made by four unsuspecting individuals.
What’s in the future for this band?
We have one self-released 5-song demo cassette available now and are writing to release another one within the coming months. Other than that, just keep writing and playing shows and see what happens. The band is only three months old so there’s a lot of time ahead of us, hopefully.
Reason for forming:
Formed in 2014 by ex members of Kakistocracy/Rat Storm/Auryn. Rye and Jared initially started this band out of the ashes of other fruitless and frustrating projects with the intention of making emotionally charged music. Caleb joined on drums, Elliot on Bass and MJ on vocals.
What are your lyrics about?
Songs about dealing with mental health issues, racism, queer issues, gender identity and anarchism.
How would you describe your sound?
Post-crust w/cleans and screams.

What’s in the future for this band?
June 2015 tour. Three shows with Hysterese (Germany). Heading into the Braddock Hit Factory to record six songs with Dave Rosenstrauss for a tour tape and future 7″
