Про то как Ðмериканцы иÑпользуют РуÑÑких как акÑеÑÑуары и романтизируют нашу жизнь. ВатевÑÑ€. S/O TO THE BOYS.
Band name:
SORRY, NOT SORRY
Date & location formed:
San Francisco. We became a 3 piece in September of 2014.
Reason for forming:
Friends wanting to play music together ///and a desire/need to play music. To start something new, especially when other bands have dissolved and/or people need to move on.
What are your lyrics about?
For the most part they come from our personal experiences– things we want to get out of our heads and hearts. This is a way to say what we might never say to another person or even out loud to ourselves, but feel free and hopefully safe to do so with each other. We also want to share these ideas both as a way to connect with people who will receive them, as well as to be heard as unique individuals. ///\\\internal, interpersonal, social, societal, structural, sometimes we are also writing with references to sources of inspiration and **support?**people, places, music, literature, film, ideas ….the challenge of relationships and communication, loving and affirming ourselves, getting to name and define ourselves, who we are, fucking up, traumas, addiction, mental illness, loss, lovers and ex lovers.
How would you describe your sound?
Sassy, loud, melodic and dissonant, angry, fun and danceable, multilayered. Most songs sound very different from each other. it is hard to label or genre our sound. We do have a lot of musical/genre influences like–RIOT GRRL, POSTPUNK…
What’s in the future for this band?
More song writing, more recordings, more shows, //and touring to Southern California and hopefully more places.
Band name:
INTERNT OPPGJÁ˜R (Internal Affairs/Internal Conflicts)
Date & location formed:
Early mid-november at Barrikaden, Oslo.
Reason for forming:
We wanted to create a disgusting, mutated house-band for our squat in Oslo.
We’ve all played in other bands before. Also a project that wouldn’t be so focused on achieving something as much as playing shitty punk rock together.
What are your lyrics about?
Gentrification, perversion, shitty music and personal tantrums perceived through slimy 3d-vision.
How would you describe your sound?
Filthy, disgusting, noisy mutant punk shit inspired by old Scandinavian, english and Japanese hardcore punk.
What’s in the future for this band?
We’ve been playing a bit around in Norway and will embark on a Finland tour December ’15, then we’re planning to tour Europe sometime 2015.
Also we want to record a 4 track EP 7″ before the summer.
