Is there a new issue of MRR? Well, sure — you’re looking at it.
Maximum Rocknroll will continue to publish on a regular basis. The web format allows for more flexibility than newsprint did (not to mention it’s quicker and cheaper) but we still believe the monthly issue is a meaningful way to organize our content. Plus, we intend to digitize and (re)publish the last 35+ years of reviews, interviews, columns, etc. on this website, and new content fits nicely onto the foundation we’re building.
That’s not to say that going forward the site will only be updated once a month. The logistics are still being developed, and the workflows adapted to the opportunities (and challenges) of an internet-based publication. For now, take a look at the latest reviews and columns!
