Performing both older punk and thrash styles (mainly the former), most of the material is fairly generic, but then there are little twists (vocal tricks, weird guitar sounds) that set it apart. But not by much, at least yet. Could develop into something distinctive.
At first listen this band seems like another gothic throwback but their upbeat punch mixed with powerful rhythms and a psychedelic/blues style proves they can take off where LEATHER NUN left off. Hooray for a fine Swedish tradition.
The first track is in Tesco-territory, if you know what I mean—industrial “music.” Second track is a little more musical, and mercifully short. From Japan.
Eccentric hardcore, ranging from FLIPPER-like dirges to weirdness that I thought only comes from Arizona or Texas. Pretty garage at times, too, on this five-song job.
